78 rpm recording. Chenoweth’s Cornfield Symphony Orchestra 's “The Last Shot Got Him / Hot Foot Step and Fetch It” (Okeh 40246). Recorded during a 1924 Okeh expedition to Dallas, Texas. An early example of an exaggerated band name poking fun at the country music style.
