Ron Liberti poster NEW EXHIBIT:Paper Trail: The Poster Art of Casey Burns and Ron Liberti, 17 March-31 May 2008. Sponsored by the Southern Folklife Collection, the exhibit displays the poster art of Casey Burns and Ron Liberti, who have illustrated and advertised Chapel Hill/Carrboro's independent rock scene beginning in the early 90s.

Marcus CD cover NEW CD: When I Get My New House Done: Western North Carolina Fiddle Tunes and Songs with 26 field recordings of fiddle tunes and songs performed by Marcus Martin, one of the finest old-time musicians from western North Carolina. The CD was jointly produced by the SFC and the NC Folklife Institute. Order through the North Carolina Folklife Institute online store.

Note that the majority of the SFC's 78s and 45s are not yet included in the database.
