#40070 RECORDS OF THE CENTER FOR WOMEN IN EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP in the University Archives and Records Service University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Wilson Library, CB# 3926 Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27514-8890 The Center for Women in Educational Leadership was established in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Education under a grant from the Ford Foundation. One of four such centers funded by Ford, the UNC-CH Center was founded to promote the identification, advancement, and professional development of women administrators. Under Director Lillian C. Woo and with the cooperation of faculty members of both the Academic and Health Affairs Divisions, the Center conducted surveys, workshops, and seminars to determine and implement ways of fostering the advancement of women into positions of educational leadership. The archival records of the Center consist of the 1979-1980 annual report submitted to the Ford Foundation.
