Mainly concerned with the acquisition, sale and rental/lease of real property by and from the university, this office also approved service contracts and agreements; requests for extended or "all risk" insurance, automobile liability and workman's compensation coverage and, in liaison with officials of state government, processed claims (tort, bad check and insurance) against and in behalf of the university. The persons holding the position of University Property Officer have been: James A. Williams 1969-1970 Ben O. Bridgers 1970-1971 Grace W.
