The Organization for African Students Interests & Solidarity (OASIS) was a student organization devoted to the appreciation of African culture and engendering unity among students of African descent. Known as AFRICA in 1981, the group later changed its name to the African Student's Association before settling on OASIS in 1996. As of 2011, OASIS was made up of several subgroups, including dance and acting troupes, a public service group, and a student publication. Among the annual events OASIS organized was Africa Night, which hosted African food, entertainment, and scholarly speakers on a range of topics.

Records include correspondence with the faculty advisor, materials regarding official recognition as a student organization, requests for event space, requests for funding, schedules of events, membership lists, publications, and other related material. Most materials are dated 1994-2004, but there are also lists of African students from 1979.
