STUDENT AFFAIRS RECORD GROUPS
The Division of Student Affairs, established in 1954, provides extracurricular programs and services for students of the University and oversees student organizations. Its goal is to enhance the quality of student life outside the classroom and to foster a sense of community on campus. Prior to the creation of the Division, responsibility for student welfare was vested in a series of deans. Records of those deans are also covered in this section. For more on student organizations, see Student Organizations and Activities.
