This site was created to highlight a selection of the photographs in the North Carolina Collection Photographic Archives pertaining to the 1956-1957 Championship Basketball Season of the University to be published in conjunction with the 50th anniversary. The Photographic Archives does not have photographs of the 1957 NCAA Tournament, nor does it have any film footage or audio tape of any basketball games. You may order reproductions of images from this exhibit. Please contact the Photographic Archives to view photographs that are not part of this exhibit. The site was designed and produced by staff members of the North Carolina Collection in March of 2007. |
