Subseries Note: In 1939 the University of North Carolina Press published Old Homes and Gardens of North Carolina "under the auspices" of the Garden Club of North Carolina, which holds the copyright to the book, featuring 100 photographs by Bayard Wootten with historical text by Archibald Henderson. This subseries comprises 214 lantern slides depicting houses, churches, and gardens, which are accompanied by a set of typed and annotated index cards entitled, "Old Homes and Gardens of North Carolina."
Subseries Note: A set of twenty-five lantern slides slides depicting people and places in the mountain region in western North Carolina and vicinity, transferred into the Woulton-Moulton Collection from the UNC Photo Lab Collection (P31).
