Provenance: Series 3 (accession no. 30410) given by the Photographic Laboratory in 1986; Series 1 and 2 (accession no. 30451) given in 1990.

Collection Description: A collection of photographs made primarily on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 1946 and 1990. Subject matter includes faculty, staff, students, facilities, and activities. The photographs were made by the Photographic Laboratory, known originally as the Communication Center, located in Swain Hall on the campus. The Laboratory closed in 1990.
