Provenance: A gift from Georgia Carroll Kyser.

Collection Description: A collection of photographs and print material documenting the life and career of James Kern "Kay" Kyser (1906-1985), big bandleader from Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

The Photographic Archives has photographs of Kay Kyser in other collections.
