- Craven County, New Bern, N.C. "3 House of Miss Allen on Johnson St. west of Middle St. / She married Dr. Davies [?] of 9th N.J. Masonic Hospital building seen on extreme right of picture back of house / W.L. Welch." Ca. 1863. House was located on the south side of Johnson St., 400 block, and is now demolished.
