Archibald Henderson was born at Lombardy, his grandfather's home in Salisbury, North Carolina. He graduated from the University in 1898 and later served as a professor of mathematics there. In 1920, he was named as head of the University's Math Department. He also wrote several historical works and biographies of George Bernard Shaw.Top |
