At Kenan Memorial Stadium's dedication ceremony, John Sprunt Hill presented the facility on behalf of William Rand Kenan Jr. to Governor Angus W. McLean, who accepted on behalf of the University and State of North Carolina. Afterwards, the football team defeated the University of Virginia 14-13.Top |
