Ralph Walton Bost, Kenan Professor of Chemistry, died in Durham. After graduating from Newberry College, he earned his M.A. and Ph. D. from the University in 1924 and 1928. In 1926, Bost became an instructor in the University's Chemistry Department. He continued to rise through the ranks, eventually becoming the head of the department in 1939.Top |
