Publisher information on more than 300,000 periodicals, including scholarly journals, popular magazines, newspapers, newsletters, and more. Provides basic information, plus circulation data and reviews for many titles.

Bacon's Magazine Directory
2006 print edition in the Park Library / Reference. Provides circulation data, ad rates, and contact information for editorial staff.

Audit Bureau of Circulation
Circulation Audit Reports, Publisher’s Statements and analysis tools for magazines and newspapers. Prior three years. Requires library login and password. Make appointment with Stephanie to log in.

SRDS Consumer Magazines (2005 in Park Library; more current edition in Davis)
Print source covers many magazines, information about personnel, ad rates, issue dates, and circulation. Provides useful glossary of advertising terms such as Effective Buying Income (EBI), circulation, and more.

Statistical Abstract of the United States 2009 (online)
Summary of social, political, and economic statistics on organization of residents of the United States. See also the print version in the Park and other libraries (call number REF-cen .S797).

SRDS Lifestyle Market Analyst (2005 in Park Library; more current edition in Davis)
"Lifestyle" profiles on topics like hiking, natural foods, sewing, and more. Some data broken out to the county level and age/income level.

Media Week
Provides weekly profiles on a geographic market. Profiles cover population data such as age, employment, and race; what television shows people in the market watch; and local ad revenue. Recent markets include Raleigh-Durham and Los Angeles.

TableBase
Data from tables published in magazines, brokerage, and government reports. Covers market share, market size, capacity, production, imports and exports, sales, product and brand rankings, forecasts, healthcare statistics, and demographics. 1997-present.
