Disability Services
The University Library is committed to providing access to their collections, resources, and services to all library users, including people with physical and learning disabilities. If you require special assistance, please feel free to contact our library staff.
Parking and Building Access
Visitors displaying an official state-issued disability designation may park in the spaces reserved for those with such permits. Disability access to New East is from the south entrance that faces Cameron Ave. Marked Disability parking spaces are in the lot to the west of New East off Cameron Ave. Once inside the building, phone the library staff at (919) 962-4770 to request assistance.
Please note that state-licensed disability parking permits do not allow parking in the UNC Disability Permit parking spots.
