Jennifer Doty
City & Regional Planning Librarian

As the head of the Chapin Planning Library, I help library users from the Department of City & Regional Planning with their research needs. I also assist people from the UNC-Chapel Hill campus and surrounding communities with Planning-related research. I have a BA in Education from the University of Arizona, and an MSI in Library & Information Services with a Graduate Certificate in Spatial Analysis from the University of Michigan. I joined the UNC Libraries in 2008.

How Can I Help You?

• I provide specialized research assistance with City & Regional Planning subjects in-person, by email, by chat or IM, or by telephone.
• I assist with Geographic Information Systems. I can help you locate print or electronic GIS resources, and acquire, format and project spatial data.
