You can IM us anytime from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

This service is intended primarily for UNC-CH students, faculty, and staff, and it is intended to assist you with brief research questions. If you have a lengthy or involved question, you may be asked to email us or to schedule a research consultation (919-962-4770).

There are two ways you can IM the Planning Library:

1. You can download and install AOL Instant Messenger from the AIM website. All technical questions should be directed to the AIM website.
• Add planref to your buddy list.
• Double click on planref to send us a message.
• Type in your question - we will respond as soon as possible.
2. If you do not wish to download and install Instant Messenger on your computer, you may use another version of AOL Instant Messenger, AIM Express. This service allows you to create a screen name and to chat on the Web without downloading any software.
