Photocopying

There is a photocopier available for public use in New East Room 209, down the hall from the Planning Library. It accepts UNC One Cards, Guest Photocopy Cards, and dollar bills and change. Guest Photocopy Cards are available for purchase at Davis Library. Patrons may add money to their UNC One Card at Tarheel Tellers (complete list of locations). Some of the closest Tarheel Tellers are in Davis Library on the first and fifth floors, the main floor of House Undergraduate Library, Carroll Hall, and the Hanes Art Center. Copies cost 10 cents each using a UNC OneCard and 15 cents each using change.

Internet Access

The Library has two computers available for use by our patrons. They contain a number of Internet applications which may be used to access the online catalog as well as do Web-related research. Both can be used to access the Library's CD-ROMs.

These computers may be used recreationally to check your e-mail or surf the web. However, in the event of heavy demand, patrons should limit their use to 30 minutes. Use of the computers will be given the following priorities:

  1. Patrons accessing the online catalog.
  2. Patrons requiring use of the machines for academic purposes.
  3. All other use.

The library is not equipped for wireless internet access, but ethernet cords are available for check-out for up to three hours at a time.
