UNC-Chapel Hill's local city and regional planning collection is held by the F. Stuart Chapin, Jr. Planning Library in 211 New East Hall. This library collects the print versions of scholarly planning journals, books, and conference proceedings. Particular strengths of the library include the areas of housing, real estate, community development, economic development, land use and environmental planning, coastal zone management, and transportation. The Chapin Planning Library also subscribes to numerous electronic journals, indexes, and databases available through the UNC Libraries website. Most of these online sources can be accessed from off campus after authorization with your onyen.
