The UNC-Chapel Hill Libraries Catalog should be used to find books and other materials owned by the University Libraries. On the library's homepage, there are three catalog search options: Quick, Basic, and Advanced. (See the picture below to see where these three options are located.)

Common catalog searches such as keyword, author, and title can be done in the Quick Catalog Search box. For more search options, including the ability to limit by date or material type, select the Basic or Advanced Catalog Search.

Search Tip:
You can search for journal and magazine titles in the catalog, but you cannot search for specific articles. See the Articles section of the tutorial for information about searching for scholarly planning articles.
