Preservation Services maintains a disaster response plan and provides training for response team members. In the event of a library disaster, such as a fire or flood, response teams are prepared to save as much of damaged collections as possible. Even for smaller disasters, such as plumbing leaks, quick response is very important. The Libraries rely on students, faculty, and staff to report plumbing leaks, fire hazards, and signs of mold in collections. Please report potential problems to the Preservation Librarian (Andrew Hart, 962-8047) or any library staff member.
