Portrait of Keats, after miniature by Severn Presenting John Keats
A first edition of John Keats's Poems (1817) marks the milestone 6-millionth volume to be acquired by UNC-CH's Libraries' collections. Presenting John Keats highlights the newly-acquired 500-item Keats Collection, purchased with support from the John Wesley and Anna Hodgin Hanes Foundation of Winston-Salem. The strength of the Library's current collection holdings by English Romantic writers the late-18th and early-19th centuries, as well as other selections from the new Keats collection, will be on display to provide context for Keats and his works.
