American Bankers Association ABA represents all types of banking institutions. Provides industry news, surveys, statistics and economic news.
America's Community Bankers (ACB) ACB represents the community banking industry. Provides industry news.
Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) ICBA represents the community banking industry. Provides industry news.
Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) MBA represents the real estate finance industry. Provides industry, mortgage and economic news and statistics.
   
Bank Directories Description
AAAdir World Banks Locate banks, credit unions or building societies according to region. Includes links to other financial information and software providers.
Individual Bank Databases From the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Searchable databases of banks provide contact information, status as insured depository institutions, financial condition, and condition relative to other institutions.
   
Banking Law Description
Legal Information Institute - Cornell Links to the sections of the U.S. Code and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) dealing with banking law. Also contains links to recent decision on banking law by the Supreme Court and the various U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
   
Print Resources Description
Mergent Bank and Finance Manual Available in microfiche in Davis Library.
Financial and descriptive information on individual banks, insurance companies, investment companies, unit investment trusts, real estate companies and real estate investment trusts. Also covers credit agencies of the Federal Government.

Industry Statistics Description
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporations (FDIC) Provides statistical and analytical reports and studies that examine current and historical issues in banking and economic trends.
Federal Reserve Selected Interest Rates (including the Bank Prime rate)
Aggregate Reserves of Depository Institutions and the Monetary Base Links to the current release from the Federal Reserve. Historical data is also available.
Assets and Liabilities of Commercial Banks in the United States Links to the current release from the Federal Reserve. Historical data is also available.
Money Stock and Debt Measures Links to the current release from the Federal Reserve. Historical data is also available.
Federal Housing Finance Board (FHFB) FHFB regulates the twelve Federal Housing Loan Banks that were created in 1932 to improve the supply of funds to local lenders that finance loans for home mortgages.

Osiris Begin in the industry section at the right - choose banking and list all included organizations. Further limits can then be chosen such as listing by country. Full reports are available on the included banks
Business Source Premier Provides comprehensive access to full text for 2300 titles. Business Source Premier provides full text back to 1965, and searchable cited references back as far as 1998.
Factiva One-stop source for full-text news, general business and industry articles as well as information on companies and industries. DJI provides front-page headlines from top newspapers and cover stories from top business magazines.
LexisNexis Universe Covers general, regional and international news, company news and financial information, legal information. Includes many banking journals.
