International Directory of Company Histories: Chicago: St. James Press.

Currently 57 volumes. Last volume indexes entire series.
Each 2-5 pages of historical profiles of the world's largest companies.
The histories were compiled from publicly accessible sources, as well as from material supplied by the companies themselves. Entries on companies that have had major changes since they were last profiled may be selected for updating.
These histories are also available online in Business and Company Resource Center but for defunct companies the print must be used.

A set of business and financial global manuals covering companies in over 80 countries. Data includes: company histories, business, property, officers, directors...............
The library holds the microfiche of Moody's (Mergent) Manuals dating back to 1905. This collection is in the Microforms section of Davis Library (2nd floor).
