Data Services helps researchers identify, evaluate, and access numeric data. We are located in the Davis Library Reference Department, adjacent to the Reference Desk and GIS Services.
UN Comtrade
Provides international trade data for over 140 reporter countries detailed by
commodities and partner countries. Data from 1962 where available. Over 1.1 billion records.
Social Science Electronic Data Library
Provides direct access to data sets from more than 200 studies on a variety of health and
social science topics. Each study includes raw data file, SPSS portable file, SAS and SPSS set
up files and documentation.
China Data Online
Provides access to the following databases:(1) China Yearly Macro-economy Statistics (1949-),
(2) China Monthly Macro-economy Statistics (1998-), (3) Monthly Reports on Economy Development
(2002-) , (4) China City Statistics (1996-), (5) China County Statistics (1997-),
(6) China Industrial Data (2001-), and (7) various statistical yearbooks (2002-).
Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) Transmittal Sheet (TS) and Loan Application Register (LAR) raw data. 2000-2006.
Annual data collected through HMDA provide a unique set of annually updated files with
information at the neighborhood level. The lender reports data about: the type and amount of
the loan, the disposition of the application; the property type (single-family vs. multi-family)
and location (including the census tract), and the applicant's ethnicity, race, sex, and income.

Woods & Poole Complete Database
Historical data from 1969 and projections to 2030 of population by race, sex, and age,
employment by industry, earnings by industry, personal income,
households by income bracket and retail sales. For U.S., regions, states,
counties, DMAs, MSAs, and Micropolitan Areas: 118 million statistics. Available in Davis Reference Data Services.
