Policies
- We offer individual consultations to help researchers identify, evaluate and access numeric data. Instruction in the use of statistical software applications is beyond the scope of the Library's Data Services. Users are referred to the Odum Institute's Statistical Consulting Service for assistance with using software packages and for help with methodological questions, data analysis and interpretation.
- Data Services will assist users in acquiring freely available data. Additionally, the Library will attempt to purchase data sets for UNC-Chapel Hill researchers providing that funds are available and that the Library can comply with license and use restrictions.
For data questions, contact Michele Hayslett.
