Veteran population in the U.S. and Puerto Rico by nation, state, county, congressional district and Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN). Variables available differ by geographic level but include service branch, officer/enlisted, Gulf War, age groups, period served, race/ethnicity, living and deaths. The map on this page provides a profile when you hover over a given state, but the data are available in Excel format from the Population Tables list on the right side of the page.
