National data Aggregate time series data documenting historical labor market trends. Updated in 2009 to include new data from The State of Working America 2008/2009. State & regional data Historical employment and earnings data at the state level.
Business Employment Dynamics
Data includes gross job gains, expansions and openings as well as gross job losses, contractions and closures. Data for the most recent ten years will be displayed in an HTML table format. If a different time period or format is desired, click on the Reformat Data button for options on refining the data retrieval results.
Employee Benefits Survey
This database creates customized tables on the incidence and detailed provisions of selected employee benefit plans. The data are presented as the percent of employees who have access to or participate in certain benefits
Employment Cost Index
Data includes: total compensation, wages and salaries, benefits, private industry, state and local government, index numbers and percentage changes. Data included from 1982-. Data for the most recent ten years will be displayed in an HTML table format. Local Area Unemployment Statistics
Contains labor force, employment, unemployment and unemployment rate data. Contains data for state, metropolitan, micropolitan, counties, cities and towns.
National Compensation Survey - Wages
Provides data on occupational wages for localities, broad geographic regions, and the nation. Data can be retrieved using tables or available flat files
State and Area Employment, Hours and Earnings
The Current Employment Statistics survey, as a joint Federal-State undertaking, generates State and area, as well as national, statistics on employment, hours, and earnings. In the largest states up to 300 industries are surveyed. Stored as flat files. Check the file sm.txt for full details.
