This CD-ROM (available in Davis Library Reference) provides key regulatory information (up to 2000) for each ITU Member State. The information will be accessible by country and by region. This interactive tool contains information on the institutional framework, regulatory and policy-making bodies and regulatory issues such as ownership, liberalization, licensing, universal service and interconnection
The World Telecommunication Indicators Database contains time series data for the years 1960, 1965, 1970 and annually from 1975-2004 for around 80 communications statistics covering telephone network size and dimension, other services, quality of service, traffic, staff, tariffs, revenue and investment. Data for 2004 are available for selected indicators such as main telephone lines in operation, mobile cellular subscribers and Internet users.
