Enter through the Data Sets link on the left, choosing the American Community Survey, then Detailed Tables. Variable was added in 2008 so data for geographies with more than 65,000 people were released in 2009; data for geographies with between 20,000 and 65,000 people begin to be released in 2011; and data for geographies with fewer than 20,000 people begin to be released in 2013. “The Medical Expenditure Panel Survey, which began in 1996, is a set of large-scale surveys of families and individuals, their medical providers (doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, etc.), and employers across the United States. The Small Area Health Insurance Estimates (SAHIE) program was created to develop model-based estimates of health insurance coverage for counties and states. This developmental program builds on the work of the Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates (SAIPE) program. Data on health insurance coverage for all counties are not currently available elsewhere.
