To access this report, click on "Publications" on the top toolbar. Some historical statistics are available from 1973 onward. The report breaks down statistics by county, by body of water, by month, by activity, and much more. The 2004, 2005, and 2006 reports are available.
Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Data, Statistics, Reports and Maps
Provides reports, maps, and statistics on many aspects of North Carolina's environment, including air, emissions, ozone forecasts fisheries, stock status, erosion rate, fish kill, farming, forestry, pollution prevention, waste, water, and wetlands.
Division of Marine Fisheries
Provides access to recreational hook and line statistics from 1989-2005 by year and species, recreational commercial gear statistics from 2002-2006, and commercial statistics from 1972-2005 listed by year and species.
Log Into North Carolina (LINC)
Log Into North Carolina provides access to a wealth of North Carolina environment, recreation, and resources statistics. Topics include land area, park acreage, recreation and amusement parks and establishments, mineral and water resources, wastes, and pollutants. Selected data is available by state, county, municipality, or region.
Water Use, Chemical Applications, and Fertilizer Applications
Water use studies for selected areas from 2002 to 2006, chemical applications for selected crops from 1999 to 2006, and fertilizer application statistics for selected crops from 2003 to 2006.
Weekly Water Use
Weekly data on water use available by county, facility, basin, or public water supply identification number.
