Aging and Adult Services
A wealth of statistics and information from the North Carolina Division of Aging and Adult Services. 2006 & 2007 Aging Profiles are available listing growth of older North Carolinians Age 65+, projected growth, projected percent of county population, percent unmarried by age group and sex, and percent below the poverty line by race, sex, and age group.

Child Data

Communicable Disease Statistics
Provides communicable disease data by the type of disease (1991-2007) and by county (2000-2007). Statistics include sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV, AIDS, and syphilis, as well as other diseases such as E. coli, west nile virus, foodborne disease, hepatitis, lyme disease, malaria, measles, meningitis, mumps, rabies, rocky mountain spotted fever, salmonella, tuberculosis, typhoid, whooping cough, and much more.

Nutrition Services – North Carolina Department of Public Health
