- Older Population in the United States: March 2002
- "These tables present data on the demographic, social, and economic characteristics of the civilian noninstitutionalized population aged 55 years and over in the United States, based on the results of the Annual Demograhpic Supplement to the March 2002 Current Population Survey (CPS). Topics covered include geographic distribution, age and sex distribution, marital status, household type and size, educational attainment, labor force status, employment status, occupational characteristics, family income, and poverty status. Data are presented for the United States. Tables 1-5 and 7-21 provide data for the population aged 55 years and over and table 6 provides data on family type by size and age of householder for the population aged 65 years and over.

- Population Projections (Census Bureau)
- The Population Projections Program creates projections of the resident population for the United States and for each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia. National and state projections by age are available from two series. Series end dates range from 2025 to 2100.
