International Data Base (US Census)
"The International Data Base (IDB) is a computerized source of demographic and socioeconomic statistics for 227 countries and areas of the world. The IDB combines data from country sources (especially censuses and surveys) with IPC's estimates and projections to provide information dating back as far as 1950 and as far ahead as 2050. Data include population by age and sex, vital rates, infant mortality, and life tables, fertility and child survivorship, migration, marital status, family planning, ethnicity, religion, language, literacy, labor force, employment, and income."

Population Database (United Nations Population Division)
"Based on United Nations data sources and publications, this database allows one to calculate and display past (back to 1950) and future (up to 2050) population statistics for all major regions of the world, the entire planet, and many specific countries. The data projections can be based on low, medium, high, and constant fertility assumption variants as well as all variants. Basic data variables include: total population, population density, urban and rural populations (including both number and percentages). Detailed variables include: age group/groupings, sex, sex ratios, median age, population change, population growth rate, crude birth rate, crude death rate, net reproduction rate, total fertility rate, life expectancy at birth by sex, net migration, net migration rate, sex ratio at birth, births, births by age group of mother, age-specific fertility rates, women aged 15-49, death by sex, infant mortality, mortality under the age of 5, dependency ratios, and population aged by various 5-year ranges. "
United Nations Common Database
"The UN Common Database gathers in one place over 300 statistical series of country and area data collected by the United Nations Statistics Division. Demographic data include population by age, sex, urban/rural; AIDS cases, births, deaths, fertility, life expectancy, marriage, migration. Data for 278 countries and areas total. Time series, projections.
WDI Online
WDI Online is a major source for data on the global economy, offering statistics on over 550 development indicators from over 200 countries and 18 country groups, from 1960 to date. Population data include population by age, birth and death rate, fertility rate, life expectancy.
