CD-ROM Databases
The Electronic Reference service, located in the Davis Reference Department, provides access to locally collected databases including:a wide variety of reference sources, including International Medieval Bibliography, Encyclopedia Judaica, an index to the Gallup Poll, the English Short Title Catalogue, and numerous full-text literary and poetry databases.
a number of business databases, including American Business Disc, International Statistical Yearbook, and other economic and demographic data sets.
We also provide stand-alone workstations for the purpose of using any CD-ROMs included with books in the Davis Library collection. These machines are also available for the installation of any personally-owned CD-ROMs. A few standalone workstations provide dedicated access to several CD-ROM databases.
