Reference Department Computing Services
The Reference Department of Davis Library offers a variety of computing services, including:- Multimedia access to Internet resources with workstations equipped with headphones
- Internet workstations with different foreign language character sets, such as Cyrillic, Japanese, etc.
- Internet access to specialized databases such as DataStream and the CCH Tax Series
- Scanning Services -- text (OCR) and images
- Access to a variety of CD-ROM databases
- Stand-Alone CD-ROM workstations where you can use your personal CD-ROMs
- Access to government (federal, state, international) CD-ROM databases and specialized Internet databases such as World News Connection and Monthly Bulletin of Statistics
- Access to Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Resources and Services
Reference staff members are available to assist you with using any of these services during specific hours.
