The Research & Instructional Services Department of Davis Library offers a variety of
computing services, including:

Multimedia access to Internet resources with workstations
equipped with headphones

Internet workstations with different foreign language
character sets, such as Cyrillic, Japanese, etc.

Internet access to specialized databases such as
DataStream and the CCH Tax Series

Scanning Services -- text (OCR)
and images

Access to a variety of CD-ROM
databases

Stand-Alone CD-ROM workstations where you can use your
personal CD-ROMs

Access to government (federal, state, international)
CD-ROM databases and specialized Internet databases such
as World News Connection and Monthly Bulletin of
Statistics

Access to Geographical Information
Systems (GIS) Resources and Services
Research & Instructional Services staff members are available to assist you with
using any of these services during specific hours.
