| Notes: | This data was acquired October 2009. If you need more recent data, contact the GIS Librarian. Contact information is available at the bottom of this page. Best available building footprints derived from a variety of sources, including 1994 Planimetric Polygons (from Landmark), Planimetric Polygons derived from 1999 ortho imagery for selected areas (purchased from Avineon), and manually digitized Building polygons for Commercial Developments within the Durham City Limits only that were derived from hard-copy site plans presented by developers prior to construction and later spatially registered to other GIS reference layers. The data were compiled to offer a slight improvement over the 1994 building footprints purchased from Landmark. |
