| Abstract: | "The Center for Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis of Cook College, Rutgers University and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (USA/CERL) have released and distributed GRASS Global CD-ROM datasets to users around the world. These products are the result of a cooperative research and development agreement allowing Rutgers to make global digital datasets, developed jointly by CERL and Rutgers, available on CD-ROM. These datasets have been created to provide global and regional scale data to scientists, educators, and government agencies for environmental analysis. The five CD-ROMs comprise the largest single-format global GIS dataset now available."
