Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Services Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I use the GIS Data Finder?
An AFS client is required to access spatial data stored on the campus network. If you would like to set up an AFS client on your computer, please see these instructions.
Many labs on campus map drives to the campus network. The public GIS machines in Davis Library Reference GIS Services are set up exactly as presented in this demo.
Some labs on campus may have a different path to the spatial data collection.
Rather than J:\isis\data\gis the path may be J:\data\gis.
Please Note: Flash player plugin is required to view this demo.
