Six GIS workstations are located in the Electronic Documents/GIS section of Davis Library Research and Instructional Services. These machines are available for
patrons working on GIS/Remote Sensing projects only. The machines are available
when the library is open; printing is available when Research and Instructional Services is open
(hours).

We have six computers for our GIS patrons. The machines are CCI towers, with large 20" flat screen monitors. Patrons not affiliated with the University can use these machine but must have a staff member log them in. Please note that ArcGIS may be used for non-commercial uses only.
Jump drives and a Zip drive (USB) are available for checkout at Research and Instructional Services.
We have a black and white printer and a color printer for printing maps on standard 8.5 x 11 paper. Please note: printing is only available when Research and Instructional Services is open. Only maps created using GIS or Census Maps may be printed from the GIS printers. See our hours and policies for more information.
Hewlett Packard Design Jet Plotter 1055 CM, 36" wide. Only maps created using GIS or Census Maps may be printed from this printer. There is a charge for using the plotter - please see the Plotter Policy.
