- Maps for 1980 and previous decennial censuses are available in Davis Library in print and/or microfiche format.

- CensusCD 1980 provides statistical data and simple thematic mapping capabilities. CensusCD 1980 provides data and maps for geographical areas as small as the census tract.
- In Davis Library, Reference, Electronic Documents we offer public access to ArcView and MapInfo GIS software. TIGER/Line spatial data files, representing 1990 and 2000 Census geography, as well as limited 1980 geography, can be combined with census data as well as other datasets to create thematic maps. The Census Bureau's TIGER/Line data are available for geographical areas as small as the block. - Our Documents Section web site provides a list of interactive mapping resources over the web. Some sites provide the ability to create outline maps or thematic maps.
