State Government Information in Print

The Government Documents section in Davis Library houses the University's collection of state government publications. The collection includes:

• a large number of publications from the southeastern states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
• many publications from New York, as the library is a depository for New York.
• a state legislative journal collection that includes all states; many items in this collection are from the 18th and 19th centuries.
• publications from state university research bureaus.

While most North Carolina documents are in the library's catalog, most other state documents are not. Please ask at the Davis Library Reference Desk for assistance finding state documents, or contact Michael Van Fossen.
