Arts and Humanities Resources

Reference, research, and instruction in the Humanities and many fields of the Fine and Performing Arts are supported by the librarians and collections of the Davis Library Reference Department. Reference resources in both print and electronic formats provide in-depth coverage of classical studies, drama and theater, films, history, languages and linguistics, literature, manuscripts and archives, medieval and renaissance studies, philosophy and world religions, and television and radio. The collection also provides basic resources for areas served by other libraries on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus including the Sloane Art Library, the Music Library, and the Manuscripts, North Carolina, and Rare Book collections in Wilson Library.
