XV. Locating Medieval Manuscripts At UNC-Chapel Hill & Beyond

As indicated above, cataloging of individual manuscripts and manuscript collections is very inconsistent. The list below attempts to locate Medieval manuscripts in microform held by UNC-Chapel Hill. The second reference is to a web site of manuscript facsimiles held at UNC. Keyword searching in the catalog may also yield results, e.g.: (medieval or latin or greek) and manuscripts and microfi? [truncated form retrieves microfilm or microfiche].

The WorldCat database ("Article Databases & More") is a union catalog of approximately 60 million records, including books, archives and manuscripts, computer files and other materials. Keyword searching in WorldCat may identify mss. not held by UNC-Chapel Hill.

Medieval Resources: Materials Available at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Davis Library, Microforms Department.
