ABELL (Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature)

E-Journals -- Literature
Scholarly journals and other electronic serials to which the UNC Chapel Hill libraries subscribe. The libraries will also have many of these in print which can be used when the entire run of a publication is not online. Keep in mind, too, that the campus libraries hold thousands of serials which are available only in print.

In addition, many Electronic Indexes and Databases provided through the libraries contain full-text articles and the E-Journals list cannot yet identify these. If you have questions about E-Journals or about locating serials contact the Reference staff in one of the libraries, in person, by phone or e-mail, or using the new "Live Online Help" service. See Ask a Librarian for information. Keywords: literature, scholarly journals, electronic journals

Literary Theory
"The criteria for the inclusion of works in Literary Theory seek to reflect the diverse material and interests encompassed by the history of literary theory and criticism. In addition to works written in English, the database includes works which were originally written in other languages but which have had a significant bearing on English and American traditions of theory and criticism, or which have influenced contemporary theoretical debate in the English-speaking world. All works in the database appear in English." Available campus-wide and off-campus to UNC Chapel Hill students, faculty, and staff. Keywords: literary theory, literary criticism, critical analysis
