From the Yale Law School. "The Avalon Project will mount digital documents relevant to the fields of Law, History, Economics, Politics, Diplomacy and Government. America, History, and Life
The most comprehensive ongoing bibliography for the history of North America. Includes articles, books, essays in collections, dissertations, and book reviews from 1964 on. Off-campus access limited to UNC Chapel Hill faculty, staff, and students. Keywords: North American history.
American Memory Project -- Library of Congress
"A gateway to rich primary source materials relating to the history and culture of the United States. The site offers more than 7 million digital items from more than 100 historical collections." Keywords: primary sources, primary documents, original sources, original documents.
E-Journals in History
Scholarly journals and other electronic serials to which the UNC Chapel Hill libraries subscribe. The libraries will also have many of these in print which can be used when the entire run of a publication is not online. Keep in mind, too, that the campus libraries hold thousands of serials which are available only in print.

In addition, many Electronic Indexes and Databases provided through the libraries contain full-text articles and the E-Journals list cannot yet identify these. If you have questions about E-Journals or about locating serials contact the Reference staff in one of the libraries, in person, by phone or e-mail, or using the new "Live Online Help" service. Internet History Sourcebook Project
"The Internet History Sourcebooks are collections of public domain and copy-permitted historical texts presented cleanly (without advertising or excessive layout) for educational use." Covers world history of all time periods and geographic areas. Also includes links to maps, images, music and films. Voice of the Shuttle-History
VOS is a major Web site with over 70 pages of links to humanities and humanities-related resources on the Internet. Keywords: world history, international history.
WebChron
"The WebChronology Project, originally a program of the History Department at North Park University, is a series of hyperlinked chronologies developed by the instructors and historical articles prepared by students intended for use in history classes." Links to both Regional and to Cross-Cultural Chronologies. Keywords: history chronology.
World History Compass
Another site with broad coverage of world history of all time periods and geographic eras as well as the history of science and medicine and military and maritime history. Also has links to libraries, archives, and museums. Keywords: international history.
WWW-VL HISTORY CENTRAL CATALOGUE
A broadbased site with links related to general research methods and issues; historical eras; general and interdisplinary historical topics such as cartography, maritime history, labor history , women's history, the history of science, and films; and to sites focusing on individual countries. Links by decades and by year and timelines. Also has categories for Disasters, Entertainment, and Sports. Keywords: world statistics, history, politics.
