- The Barrington Atlas, created by the Classical Atlas Project (now, the Ancient World Mapping Center), is a reference work of permanent value. It has an exceptionally broad appeal to everyone worldwide with an interest in ancient Greeks and Romans, the lands they penetrated, and the peoples and cultures they encountered in Europe, North Africa and Western Asia.

- E-Journals-Classics
- Scholarly journals and other electronic serials to which the UNC Chapel Hill libraries subscribe. The libraries will also have many of these in print which can be used when the entire run of a publication is not online. Keep in mind, too, that the campus libraries hold thousands of serials which are available only in print.
In addition, many Electronic Indexes and Databases provided through the libraries contain full-text articles and the E-Journals list cannot yet identify these. - L'Annee Philologique indexes modern editions of ancient texts, collections of articles (including Festschriften), journal articles, articles in collections, dissertations, book reviews, and summaries.
Additionally, the L'Annee Philologique contains citations of all known scholarly work published in any language anywhere in the world in the areas of ancient Greek and Latin language and linguistics, Greek and Roman history, literature, philosophy, art, archaeology, religion, mythology, music, science, early Christian texts, numismatics, papyrology, and epigraphy. Its coverage begins in the second millennium B.C.E. with pre-classical archaeology and ends with the period of transition from late antiquity to the middle ages (roughly 500-800 C.E.). - One of the most longstanding and major projects to digitize and bring to electronic formats the texts, art, and archaeology of the classical world. Has added geographic areas and time periods to include source materials for the Renaissance, the history of London, and for some area of the U.S., by linking to and supporting other projects.
