Lisa Norberg Named 2008 Marta Lange/CQ Press Award Winner

Lisa Norberg, director of public services for the University Library, is the 2008 recipient of the Marta Lange/CQ Press Award from the Association of College and Research Libraries. The award, established in 1996 by ACRL's Law and Political Science Section, honors a librarian who has made distinguished contributions to bibliography and information service in law or political science.

CQ Press, sponsor of the award, will present the $1,000 award and a plaque during the 2008 American Library Association Annual Conference in June in Anaheim, Calif.

Norberg was named director of public services in 2006 after serving since 2000 as the Library's coordinator of instructional services. From 1995 to 2000, she was public affairs and government librarian at the Penn State Harrisburg Library and was public affairs liaison librarian at George Mason University from 1992to 1995.
