Search TRLN Debuts
One Search Covers Catalogs of all Triangle Research Libraries

Access Search TRLN from the UNC Libraries' home page or search.trln.org
Search TRLN allows you to search for materials at all four institutions at once, or at any of the libraries you select (e.g., UNC and Duke only, or only medical or law libraries in TRLN).
Search TRLN additionally uses advanced Endeca software that makes it easy to refine your search to get the items you need. A search for "North Carolina," for example, leads you to options that let you narrow your search by subject (history, politics and government, economic conditions, etc.), region, time period, type of item, and more.
Searchers will also find cover images, summaries, track listings, reviews, and first chapters or excerpts for many recent materials, as well as the ability to search by chapter title or author for many materials published since 1984.
Request items held only at another library by using the "Request this item" option within Search TRLN. Your request will be processed and you will be notified when the item arrives at UNC. (UNC users need a valid ONYEN and password in order to use this service.)
We are still enhancing Search TRLN and would love to hear from you. Select Comments within Search TRLN and let us know how we are doing.
